Designer of Astro's Playroom Says He Would Consider a Sequel or Expansion

Astro'south Playroom comes packed in with a PS5. The game is a platformer that toys around and demonstrates the new features of the new DualSense controller. The platformer has been widely considered not but a great showcase of engineering science, merely a great game besides. With that said, in a contempo interview with Edge mag (via VGC), the lead designer stated that he would consider creating a sequel or expansion content.

In the interview, Japan Studio boss Nicolas Doucet stated that he has not decided on what the evolution team volition create next, whether it is a new game or something related to Astro's Playroom. When asked if he would consider a sequel or DLC, he stated: "At this moment in time, there'southward no plan for an extension of Astro'due south Playroom, simply I think it'southward going to come up down to the popularity of the game. So far we've heard a lot from the media, and information technology's been very positive, and we're really, really happy. But a lot of it is going to come downward to the consumer experience."

He continued and said that he would similar to wait and hear from casual players and players who happen to be new to gaming.

"I think we need to hear from them too. And that's going to happen post-launch, once the panel is in the easily of consumers. But if the character has popularity, and if it proves that people are really having fun, [an extension or sequel] could be one avenue to follow.
